This sign is designed for outdoor use with 2 coats of Polyurethane applied & on weather-resistant wood. We take pride in offering the best of the best to welcome your guests this St. Patty's Day season, Let us explain the process of this beautiful gnome sign: We first start with a rustic wood plank (Your choice of size). Then we carefully stain the wood with an expresso wax base stain, which we then let sit for a couple of days to cure. A white wash & vintage white paint is then applied to the dry stain with a rag for a rustic chic look. Once the background is completely dry, Your lovable gnome is brought to life. Delicately hand-painted, with extra care & precision to every detail. Two coats of polyurethane are then applied making it the perfect addition to your front porch decor. We take pride in offering the best of the best to welcome your guests all season long! A top protective layer of polyurethane is applied & this design is painted on a weather-resistant, treated wood. However, we still recommend this sign be for use under a covered porch or patio outdoors or indoors to ensure a longer lifespan for your hand-painted sign. By the purchase of this sign, the buyer agrees that the seller is not responsible for any weather-inflicted damage should the buyer keep the sign outdoors. Buyer takes full responsibility of the upkeep of their sign after they take possession of it. This sale does not include any other services, refunds or exchanges outside of this product agreement. We recommend keeping your hand-painted sign out of direct path of rain, sleet, hail, etc. & to clean it every year from dust & debris with a slightly damp rag. To store, cover in a plastic wrap to keep safe from chemicals, pesticides, sun & dust. This sign has 2 coats of a polyurethane wood finish applied which is a synthetic coating that is highly durable & water resistant keeping your artwork safe. Should the buyer decide to apply more coats of polyurethane over the years, please use a high-grade wood polyurethane.
