In 1998 after the Homer Simpson Sanitation Commissioner debacle, the town of Springfield was abandoned & relocated. On a recent road trip, I discovered these signs as I stumbled upon a massive garbage pile after pulling off the road to stretch my legs approximately 5 miles outside of Springfield. I believe these to be the last known remnants of the original town of Springfield. Actually, I just made these at my house & thought they looked cool. These are sublimated onto aluminum signs to mimic the design of an old gas station or bar sign. The distressing is printed onto the sign made to last. The sign is smooth to the touch, & I am including small black screws to mount them on your wall for a vintage bar sign look. I have several other vintage Simpsons aluminum signs & I also have other Vertical versions (linked below) if you'd like to mix & match. I give a discount if you purchase more than one.
