The Showboat Hotel Casino was actually the first resort that was located in Las Vegas, the actual city of Las Vegas & not Paradise where the big resorts are on The Strip. Opened in 1954 & closed as it was known in 2000 this matchbook is probably from the early 1960's. It shows some wear from kicking around for 60 odd years.
