Description
Silver plate on brass creamer & sugar with rectangular base, all with modernist design & large beading details, dates to Art Deco era, has Secessionist influence, with simple form that became a hallmark of the mid century modern era. The creamer & sugar are 2 7/8" high to top of handle, & the bowl is 3 3/8" in diameter. The rectangular tray measures 7 1/2" x 4". Signed on bottom of handles, "Italy", no other hallmarks. Condition is good, some wear to silver plate showing brass underneath, some tarnish, spots, & abrasions to surface. As these are vintage items & show signs of usage, sold as is. Designer unknown, but the pieces show obvious artistic excellence, with lovely details, & a sleek elegance that is most appealing. Please see all photos for details & email any questions.
