This Double-Sided Coin Ring is made from an 80% silver, Canadian 50 Cent piece (random year 1937-1958). It has been meticulously Hand-Crafted in true Artisan Style with a 2-Tone Silver/Antique Patina Finish, "Tails" side out. The inside reads, "ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA" which translates to "Elizabeth II, Queen by the grace of God." The outside displays a simplified version of the Royal Coat of Arms of Canada & is surrounded with the facial value of the coin & the inscription "CANADA 1958." PACKAGING: All pieces come beautifully packaged in a black velvet drawstring bag, perfect for gift giving. These carefully handcrafted rings start out as very detailed coins. The coins are hand-picked from a wide selection of coins, & only the best end up becoming rings. The transformation from coin to ring is done completely by hand. Our philosophy of turning a coin into a ring is to make it as beautiful as possible. The pattern on each coin is taken into consideration when determining the size of ring's band. When carefully forming the coin into a ring, we go to great lengths to incorporate & preserve every detail of the coin, (inside & out). This process may take a little longer, but we think it is worth it. At this point, the ring is still far from being done. It still needs to have it's edges sanded & rounded for a comfortable fit. The new ring will receive a two-toned mirror/antiqued dark patina finish to showcase every little detail. The coin ring is now hand-polished to a beautiful shine.
