White strawberries are strawberries with a white color, red seeds, & pink patches.When ripe, it is almost completely white, but with red achenes (the seeds). The plant is disease-resistant, & highly priced. Pineberries have a strawberry flavor, but with subtle essences of pineapple, pear, & apricot. Because they have a slightly lower acidity than traditional red strawberries, pineberries have a delicate finish that leaves the palate pleasantly refreshed. They are very rare & the majority of commercially grown fruit are destined for high-end restaurants. As such, not many people have had the pleasure of tasting these very rare berries.
