DESCRIPTION: ca. 1950: Cuckoo clock motif brooch with articulating brass bird, pendulum & winding weights. Lots of visual interest...evocative of the bygone era & old German Black Forest handmade clocks. Designed to be lightweight enough to wear on a blouse or lapel, from the era when that was a daily must for every well presented woman. This piece has nice presence at 3 1/4 inches including the dangles.
