This Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art illustration is inspired by a beautiful summer day spent on the south lawn. An entire afternoon can be spent lounging in the grass, sharing a picnic with friends or throwing a frisbee. Pop inside the museum to cool off & browse the collection of world-famous pieces hanging in gorgeous galleries. Locals & visitors alike adore the museum & its icon shuttlecock statues. It is one of my favorite places in Kansas City! All of my pieces start as drawings in my sketchbook. This original piece is hand drawn & digitally colored in Kansas City. It is giclee printed in the Midwest with pigment-based archival inks on beautiful 200 gsm archival-certified fine arts paper. The thick matte paper with subtle water color texture is durable & accentuates the original brushstrokes of the artwork. The illustration can be ordered as a 5x7 inch (portrait), 8 x 10 inch (portrait), or 14 x 11 (landscape) print. Each 5 x7 is a full bleed print & each 8 x 10 & 14 x 11 have a 1/4" white border. Prints are ready to be framed or displayed as is. (Frame not included) All prints are signed & dated by the artist.
