Description
23 Jewel Railroad Hampden pocket watch, Grade name New Railway. Made 1901, lever set. This watch has been completely disassembled, cleaned, & is ticking great, keeping good time with lots of amplitude to the balance. This watch does show its age internally with some minor rust & other ware. Beautiful movement with solid gold jewel settings, & solid gold balance screws. Brass case is Canadian made & although warn, it is still in great shape. bow is very tight & sturdy. Dial is in good shape but with 4 hairlines, two at 2 o'clock & 2 at 5 & 6 o'clock. Hands are blue & are a great matching set has a new old stock glass crystal. Watch is clean, running, & ready to be used. Comes with the Carriage clock display stand, designed & produced in our shop in Paris, Ontario. Colour can be silver or gold. Antique, Serviced, 23 Jewel Hampden Pocket Watch. 1901
