First sketch is Murakami's character Mr. DOB, second is a crown over the head in the Murakami's photo. Signed right border. Dated 1995. Good condition. Sold matted without glass & without frame. Guaranteed to be a Takashi Murakami authentic drawing. Provenance: in 1995 Murakami attended a promo event in New York & signed the page in "Studio Voice" a Japanese multimedia magazine. Takashi Murakami Born in Tokyo Japan in 1962 is a famous Japanese contemporary pop artist. He works in fine arts media including paintings, sculptures, as well as commercials such as fashion, merchandise, & animations. Takashi is well known for blurring his arts in between fine arts & commercial arts. He coined the term "super flat" which describes both the aesthetic & characteristics of the Japanese artistic tradition.
