17 Jewel Illinois pocket watch, Made 1921 The gold plated case is very lovely on this size 16 pocket watch. Of railway style with a nice solid bow, stem, & crown. Case has nicely detailed edges. It does show wear with brass showing in the center of the back & other locations but the brass shines up to the same color of the gold & is hard to see. Movement is in fantastic shape & running perfectly. Gold jewel settings, gold plated wheels, & gold balance screws makes for one beautiful looking movement to watch tick away. Fully serviced. the triple sunk dial has some damage notably hairlines at 12 & 3. There are also scratches in the dial near 12 o clock & at 6 o'clock removing the "3" from 30 second mark. Hands are original & beautifully blue. Watch has good condition plastic crystal. Watch is cleaned, oiled, & ready to be used every day.
