For sale we have a great looking kaleidoscope made by Van Cort Instruments of Holyoke, MA. Erik Van Cort started his shop in 1979 building telescopes, kaleidoscopes, & "odd & curious devices" as well as restoring antique instruments. If you are a fan of brass optical instruments check out his site. The kaleidoscope is made of nicely grained wood with glass panes held on by the brass rings. There are colored glass nodules inside to make the designs. The piece measures 4 inches tall by 1 5/8 inches wide at the base & is in very good condition without damage. Please see photos.
