This is large pear shape tomato, which is originally from Russia, & features green streaked shoulders, deepening to burnished mahogany & finally to a nearly black base. Good yields of 4-6 oz. fruit with an excellent, luscious, rich flavor. Harvest when shoulders are still green for best taste. Ohhhhh, these are so very good. Beautiful when just sliced on to a plate, yet are also good for cooking.
