This cool metal triptych was created using a vintage map of Baltimore, Maryland, circa 1912, originally published by Normal T.A. Munder & Co. Each sleek panel measures 24" x 36", for a total display size of 72" x 36", & is made from steel. To make these unique triptychs, I start of with a graphic of my own creation, & then print it out digitally on to transfer paper. I then use heat & pressure to transfer the prints directly into the powder coated metal surface. The image basically becomes part of the paint & surface, making it highly durable & fade resistant.
