We are pleased to offer a vintage fan shaped display plaque by Royal Selangor Pewter, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The pewter carving is part of the Reminiscence from the Tang Dynasty Collection, & depicts the Night-Mooring on the Chien-Te River by Meng Hau-Jan. The Chinese Poem is surrounded by the river scene, depicting the moon by the mountains, a hut, boat & a large tree in the center. The plaque is stamped "ROYAL SELANGOR" at the lower back & underneath the black stand. This fan is about 5.5" wide & 3.5" tall with the stand. It is in perfect new condition, no flaws have been noted. It seems to have been only displayed inside the velvet lined case. The top for the box is missing, & the bottom shows some age-related wear. Please check pictures for overall condition. This collectible Royal Selangor pewter fan is a nice accent piece displayed among other Asian decorative items, & would make a beautiful gift for someone who knows the Chinese poem or has ties to the area depicted on the plaque.
