A cool vintage wire two part brooch from 1939. The larger pin has the letter HHS & it's about 3/8 of an inch long by 1 1/8 inches wide. The smaller pin is the number 39 & about 1/4 of an inch long by about 3/4 of an inch wide. There's a 1 1/2 inch length of fine link chain connecting the two pins. Simple C clasps. Both are goldtone wire. My guess is that this is a senior pin for a 1939 graduate from HHS high school. You could also wear it if your initials happen to be HHS! Very good condition for age, with some wear & darkening to the metal.
