These hand forged S-hooks are a larger version of my standard size s-hooks, these hooks average 5.5-6" long & the openings are 1.25" these longer S-hooks are the perfect size for hanging plants, organizing the home, kitchen, or garage. After forging the hooks are wire brushed or placed in a parts tumbler to remove loose forge scale. After clean up a shop-made hot finish is applied in several coats & allowed to soak into the pores of the iron. This creates a traditional blackened finish that holds up well & can be easily touched up. Please keep in mind Everything in my shop is hand forged to order in rural Appalachia, the shipping times are how long it can potentially take me to get an order forged & shipped.
