Description

"Baby Bunting takes his hoe & tries to help the flowers grow" is the phrase centered in this 1920s baby plate or shallow bowl made in England. Baby is wearing a dress & "pinny" in the garden scene, assisted by his brown & white puppy. The heavy white dish features the alphabet in blue lettering around the rim. It is about 8" across & 1.75" deep. There is some wear to the lettering & other parts of the design but the central graphic is in very nice condition for its years of use. There is a small flaw near the edge of the inside plate bottom, maybe a bit of extra ceramic from the manufacture. There is discoloration & crazing visible on the underside of the bowl. The bowl is very heavy. The words on the bottom stamp that I can read say: HOLDFAST BABY PLATE, D.E. McNicol, Liverpool. Please look closely at the photos & convo me with questions. I pack carefully & ship same or next business day from Arkansas with free tracking. Satisfaction guaranteed or money cheerfully refunded. 1920S Baby Dish With Alphabet Rim & Baby Bunting Design 8" Across Holdfast Of Liverpool, Ohio, By Mcnicol Brand Some Wear But Charming
