Offered is a gorgeous antique solid 14k rose gold Victorian mid 1800s bi-color hardstone agate cameo ring. The cameo is carved in high relief, with great detail. The mounting is also exceptional in detail & heavy in gold weight. What makes this ring even sweeter are the hand-inscribed initials "WHG to EFA" on the inside of the band. This ring is in pristine condition, especially considering it's at least 150 years old. The detail on the mounting is deep, super crisp & clear, & the cameo itself has no damage. The cameo is set in a milgrained bezel with four original seed pearls at the corners. Nice color contrast between the white carving & red agate base. The face measures 3/4" top to bottom. Unmarked but thoroughly tested & guaranteed to be solid 14k gold. The ring weighs a hefty 6.1 grams, & it's a size 6.75. It's in excellent antique condition!
