Georg Jensen Sterling Silver the clip /tie bar in the Viking Ship pattern number 263. This pattern was created by noted designer Harald Nielsen. These were made in the 1940's & are now retired. The clip measures 2 1/8 inches (53mm) long & a bit over a 3/4 inch (18mm) wide. It weighs approx. 14 grams. The clip is in excellent vintage condition & has light toning that makes the Viking Ship pattern really stand out. The piece is fully hallmarked by the Jensen Silversmithy as follows: 1. Georg Jensen in a dotted oval (mark used after 1945) 2. Denmark 3. Sterling 4.
