Description
This is a lovely set of four vintage Ceramica Due Torri decorative 8 inch salad dessert plates titled "Le Stagioni d' Epoca" made in Italy. The four ceramic plates have a mottled cream colored background & represent a different season of the year, including Autunno (autumn), Primavera (spring), Inverno (winter) & Estate (summer solstice). Each plate features a unique colorful, detailed image of two Victorian ladies dressed in their finery with a border of green & red leaves aroun the rim & "Le Stagioni d' Epoca" with the season written in black script along the bottom. The plates are stamped on the bottom with the Ceramica Due Torri mark & measure approximately 8 1/8" in diameter. The set is in good vintage condition with surface wear including scratches, tiny black flecks, imperfections, small nicks along the rim, wear on the bottom rim & three plates with larger chips along the rim edge (please see last picture).
