Handmade & kiln fired, a gorgeous glass heart comprised entirely of colorful millefiori flowers . This unique glass work of art is a beautiful way to display a heart year-round! The piece is made entirely of glass. I started with many different colors & shapes of millefiori flowers & fused them together in the kiln in the shape of a heart. Once fused together, I then sanded/polished the edges to a smooth finish & attached the newly fused cat onto a 5"x5" sheet of opaque white glass & fused all of it together. There is a lot of definition & contour in this piece. The finished piece was placed onto foam mounting board & placed in the 8" x 8" white frame (actual outside measurements are 8 3/4" by 8 3/4".)
