1920'S-30's Micro Mosaic Crucifix Pendant with a vintage photo image of the Italian Pope Pius XI. He was the Italian Pope from 1922 to 1939. This crucifix is decorated with extremely fine glass mosaic millefiori. Beautiful vintage colors with a very lovely weathered patina. These were sold as religious souvenirs from the Vatican in Rome. Great antique collectible memorabilia from ROMA... It is said that these were created by the monks in the Vatican, but I'm not sure about this history. This vintage crucifix is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION.. no issues to note. Great overall vintage patina.
