Kilim are plain weave woven by weaving a warp & a weft. It has a long history & is said to have been made even before the carpet was born. The patterns woven on the kilim have been traditionally passed down as geometric patterns in order to give meaning to familiar animals & things & to make women happy. The kilim, which is said to have been made by nomads, can be folded & easily carried when moving. Kilim, which can be used in various situations such as rugs, blankets & tapestries, would have been handy. Kilims I introduce are all made in the traditional way. There used to be a time when we relied on chemical dyes as dyes for kilim, but here we introduce kilims, which are woven mainly from natural dyes. Since these are old kilims, those with damage will be repaired. Great kilim fabric that can be used even after repairs. I think it will be an interior item that makes everyday life fun & exciting.
