Statement jewelry for sure! These handmade clay earrings are lightweight. The Persian/ Arabic calligraphy gives them a lot of character. I cut the rectangular shape out of clay, emboss them with random letters which say nothing, but show the beauty of the written language, add Beads & then bake them. Years ago I bought a pair of similar earrings when I visited the Middle East, but they are real gold. With gold prices so high, I want to bring this kind of jewelry to you for a fraction of the cost of real gold. These are just as fun. The posts are surgical steel & the backs are gold plated.
