Vintage Owl Bank. Made in Japan. This adorable bank features an owl with a very wise face made out of pottery. His face is carved with with two big eyes & pupils of different sizes. His face feathers raise up & are made with detailed markings. His face is rough to the touch & his body is soft & smooth. There are wing & feather carvings around his brown body base. He has a slit to insert coins on the back & a removable rubber stopper on the bottom to collect them. There is a gold "Made in Japan" sticker on the bottom. Very cute bank! Very good vintage condition Measures approximately 4"x 4". All of my items ship from a smoke free home although I have no way of knowing what they may have been exposed to during their long lives.
