This is a vintage botafumeiro souvenir from the Camino de Santiago It was been protected in a clear plastic box & is in pristine condition. The incensor is a separate piece & the top slides up & down. This item is NOT for use with burning incense. For decoration only. It is 4.5 inches tall 1.5 inches across at the base. It comes with its original card with a photo of the real botafumeiro & an explanation of that Camino & the use of the botafumeiro in Spanish. (I will translate by request) The swinging of the botafumeiro in the Cathedral in Santiago de Compotela is a much prized finish to the grueling Camino.
