The item is not flawed, that is just how sterling silver is. Many of my suppliers use sterling silver pins since it is best for sensitive ears (nickel free). RAW BRASS Raw brass is susceptible to tarnishing, all raw brass will tarnish but can be cleaned. Due to the amount of brass I ship out, I can't clean every piece.
