Description

I suspect this pair of pewter candlesticks were probably made in the 1950s or 1960s & they are hallmarked Williamsburg Steiff Pewter. The Steiff Company of Baltimore, Maryland were the official pewterers for Colonial Williamsburg, & these were made prior to 1979, when the Steiff Company became known as Kirk-Steiff. They are a matched pair, in good condition, with some light scratches & minor scuffs & abrasions. They are each hallmarked with the Williamsburg name, in cursive, the logo, & works "STEIFF PEWTER", & " CW 30 5". They measure about 7 1/4" tall, & the octagonal base is 4" wide from flat side to flat side. The openings can accept candles as wide as 7/8" diameter. Together they weigh over 2 1/2 pounds do they have some good heft. in good condition. Of course you get the pair for $59, with FREE shipping within the United States. I'll gladly combine shipping with other items whenever possible. For shipment elsewhere, please contact me for a shipping quote.
