Ready to represent yo city! This (1-pc) Chicago flag has deep roots! The perfect patch with vibrant colors to add to your crocs, jacket, or hat! There are three white stripes on the flag, which represent the north, west & south sides of the city. The top blue stripe represents Lake Michigan & the north branch of the Chicago River. The bottom stripe represents the south branch of the river & the great canal. Patch has adhesive on the back & is ready to be sealed with your heat press or iron (without steam). How to apply your patch Our embroidered patches can be ironed onto anything you can iron: shirts, jeans, hats, blouses, pants, skirts, etc. Make your clothes & accessories unique! Are you creative? With a heat press or an iron, you can create a new look instantly. It's soooo easy! Heat seal to polyester/cotton fabrics. Do not apply to rainwear (waterproof), highly elastic, rayon, nylon or tri-acetate fabrics. Once applied, applique is permanently attached to the garment & is washable, dryable & dry cleanable. For machine washing, turn garment inside-out before washing & drying. Iron on instructions for embroidered patches using an iron: Step 1: Set your iron at the hottest temperature setting. DO NOT USE STEAM DURING APPLICATION! Step 2: Place embroidered patch in the desired position & place a Teflon sheet on top. Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 35-45 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible. NO BACK & FORTH. Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out & repeat steps 2 & 3. Step 5: Allow the patch to cool down. Instructions for using a Heat Press: Step 1: Set your heat press to 350 degrees. Step 2: Place your embroidered patch in the desired position & place a Teflon sheet on top. Step 3: Press the garment for 12 seconds. Step 4: Increase temperature to 375 degrees. Turn the garment inside-out & press for 10 more seconds. Step 5: Allow the embroidered patch to cool down.
