Up for sale is a gemmy hyalite opal on chalcedony matrix from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. It is in good overall shape & weighs 59.2 grams. There are some small bladed crystals present in a few places around the hyalite (possibly calcite). Pictures were taken dry indoors (ruler for scale). Please note that this hyalite opal only fluoresces in shortwave UV light. Longwave UV & regular blacklights show little to no fluorescence.
