This listing is for a 830 silver & enameled souvenir spoon from Germany made after 1888 & with KFK for the maker's hallmark. The spoon features a detailed enameled painting of a young woman in ethnic dress. The handle features an enameled shield at the top of the spoon with a hallmark that I believe indicates the spoon comes from Hamburg or somehow represents Hamburg. My research also says the KFK mark that is on the back of the spoon probably indicates the maker is K.F. Kappler. It is also marked 830 for the content of the silver. The spoon measures 5" long & is in ExCELLENT condition....no bending, no dents, no damage to the enameling or scratches either. I have lightly polished this lovely spoon to be sure of the condition & it polished up beautifully. This spoon was probably meant as a collectible coffee spoon. Great piece to add to any collection....wonderful gift item too.
