Description
This is a lovely carved & painted metal hinged wooden jewelry valet storage box made in the USSR. The lid of the box features a colorful scene of a Russian city with domed buildings & churches in shades of white, blue, orange & green in the center of a border of half circles, with scrolled trim on each side. The box closes with a small wooden dowel that fits inside a hole & has four feet on the bottom & is stamped "Made in USSR". The jewelry box measures approximately 2 1/2" tall & 6" square & is in good preowned condition with surface wear including scratches, scuffs, dings & paint loss.
