An archival print of a Chevrolet truck which was the first vehicle in 1919 to climb Mt Hood & reach Government Camp. The truck arrived on April 1st beating the old record of April 9th. The journey still took 10 days. NOTE: Print is made from an original 122 "postcard" negative which measures 3.25" x 5.5" so your finished print will have this aspect ration which results in a larger white border on the sides. Please see mockup to get an idea of how your print will look. For example an 8"x10" print will be roughly 6.5" x 10". The original negatives have been professionally drum scanned at the highest resolution in order to create beautifully detailed prints. An 8"x10" print is produced on 8.5"x11" paper to fit standard frames. An 11"x14" image is produced on 11"x14" paper, a 16"x20" is produced on 17"x22" paper. Different images may have height & width aspect ratios ranging from square or round to panoramic depending on the film type of the original negative. On your print, the image height & width will fill the stated dimensions as much as possible without cropping, meaning that there may be extra white border on one of the edges. Please note that the "© Vintage Roadside" watermark visible on our online images does not appear on the photographic print.
