Make your own charming hypertufa planters, vessels, statues, & more! This ready-to-go cement mixture consists of just the right proportions of peat moss, perlite, & fine Portland cement. Just add water, stir, & form your desired shape. Hypertufa have gained popularity within gardening circles due to their rustic, ancient charm. You can create a wide variety of effects by adding textures, coloring agents, or crafting interesting shapes. As the hypertufa ages naturally, it will gain more character & serves as a growing surface for a variety of mosses & lichens. Sold in 1 or 3 Gallon Quantities. Instructions: 1.Stir the hypertufa mixture into a large bowl or tub. Add just enough water so that when you form a ball in your hands & squeeze it, it holds its shape & little or no water drips out. 2.Pack the hypertufa mixture into your desired shape, generally using a mold such as a box or bowl. Try to make the walls of your hypertufa planter at least 2 inches thick. 3.Wrap your mold in plastic & keep in a shady location overnight.
