This pretty piece consists of a conjoined pair of extremely clear quartz crystals, with dark interior inclusions of what is most likely graphite, a form of carbon. Both crystals are double terminated, although not necessarily with the common sharp tip, but with multiple faces from healing, or faced impressions left by adjoining crystals.
