A classic plaster bust of the Greek Goddess Artemis, patron of the Hunt & the moon. & twin sister of Apollo. A large plaster bust with a creamy white finish. Beautiful detailing in the hair & clothing. The bust sits on a round socle base. The finish is chipped in places, they are mostly very shallow of the thin finish on top of the plaster but there is a deeper chip on the folds in robes on the right side, see photos. She may need a more thorough cleaning depending on how much you want to remove in the crevices. I think the raw umber color is intentional.
