Beautiful Drexel Sun Coast cabinet/hutch attributed to designer Kipp Stewart/Stewart MacDouglas. This particular line was in production for one year (1958-1959) making this piece, in this condition, quite rare. A stunning collector's piece you will be proud to display in your home. The cabinet body is beautiful cherry & is in absolute excellent condition with only 2-3 very minor scuffs. This piece has been well loved & well taken care of. The brass like trim is all present & in great condition. Has original glass sliding doors, & a glass shelf on top. Underneath is a double door storage area with a wooden shelf. The doors have the original off white/faint yellow paint with the starburst pattern painted in gold. As with any furniture paint from this era a slight yellowing has occurred to the door fronts. The photos accentuate it more than it appears in natural lighting. This piece does not appear tp have ever been around nicotine or placed in an area of direct sunlight. To the right are 4 drawers all very clean & in excellent working order. The top drawer has utensil separation areas. The hardware is all original & in near pristine condition!
