Super Cute Burgundy "Chicken of the Sea" Individual Tuna Casserole Baker by Hollydale Pottery of California Vintage Hollydale Pottery Chicken of the Sea Casserole Burgundy with a chrome stand (inside rust spot). These are often thought to be Bauer pottery but they were actually produced by Hollydale Pottery in California (see online article about these fish). Hollydale was in business from 1935 to 1959 - this Casserole was likely manufactured 1940s early 1950s. I have seen several different box styles (no box for these), they were very popular & sold over several years. There is a small flake on the inside bottom of the lid. Bottom marking says: "Made in California, Chicken of the Sea, .." Rest of patent number/or pending info obscured by glaze.
