I designed & hand knit this warm, black shoulder wrap shawl "Maxi Scarf" using a few of the very same yarns that I used when I made Stevie Nicks' black & silver Rhiannon shawl. Then I accented the body of the piece with texture stripes, including sparkle yarns. Finally, I hand cut & then manually applied the foot long, flowing fringe. My "Maxi Scarves" are an in-between size; larger than my standard sized scarves, more narrow than my full-on shawls. Shown on the mannequin is the 7 feet by 2 feet (7'x2') "Maxi Scarf" size.
