Vintage Variety & Style Size Pottery Jug Style with Handle Vase-Heather Dew Blended Scotch Whisky Jug-Roy Croft Pottery Brown Jug Each sold individual. 1.Vintage, Greybeard, Scotch Whiskey, Ceramic Jug; Heather Dew Blended, Made - in-Scotland, Mitchell Bros; Glasgow-1940s This unique two toned in beige & yellow mustard with two handles with cork. The picture shows 2 Scottish men in Scottish dress on the highland, & it reads "TRADE MARK MB LTD HEATHER DEW BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY MITCHELL BROS LTD GLASGOW SCOTLAND" On one shoulder of the jug, it reads "THE GREYBEARD "and on the back it reads "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE" On the bottom engraved it reads MADE in SCOTLAND. Good Vintage condition Measure: 6 1/4" tall x 5" wide The bottle of Heather Dew Blended Scotch Whisky was produced by Mitchell Bros Ltd based in Glasgow. The potter was famous for their Scots Whisky jugs & their mark is embossed on the base along with writing "Made in Scotland.". The company closed down on September 18, 1942. 2. Good vintage condition, very small chip on the rim Measure: 5" tall x 3 1/2" wide in 1895 Elbert Hubbard founded the Roycroft Campus in East Aurora, New York, carving the motto "Head, Heart, Hand" into the front door of the Inn. Roycroft would become a cornerstone of the American Arts & Crafts Movement, employing 500 artisans at its peak & supplying hand crafted products to over 300 retail outlets around the country until 1938.
