Mini Haitian Vodou Libation Bottle Sequins & Glass Beads Handmade in Haiti Abstract Design Open Cap Approx. 3" Wide X 4.5" High This bottle is decorated with Abstract Symbol Design. Constructed of sequins & glass beads hand-sewn onto fabric one by one to form the image desired onto the bottle shape. The Vévé represent points of transition. in the Catholic tradition, the Vévé is the point at which the Loa spirits enter the world of Man. During a Vodou ceremony, participants drink "Kleren" (unrefined Rhum). Kleren is the fuel of many Vodou dances, offered to the spirits & the sèvitè (servants of the spirits) alike. Participants use the Vodou bottles as devotional altar pieces to honor the particular loa, spirit, or ancestor.
