This antique 10" plate was made in Bavaria & is in very good condition. The design is a copy of a Thomas Gainsborough painting signed by an artist from Amsterdam, Holland. There is a hexagonal label over the name of the maker with enough showing at the edges to determine the name: Hutschenreuthe Gelb, LHS. CICO would have been the importer.
