An antique ceramic calendar tile, dated 1903 & featuring Elmwood, the Home of James Russell Lowell, Cambridge, Massachusetts. The transfer ware ceramic calendar tile was made for the exclusive store, Jones McDuffee & Stratton Co. The front side is of the House & the reverse is the 1903 calendar. The tile measures approximately 4 3/4" x 3 3/8". in good antique condition with chipping around the edges. The tile has a hanging hole.
