Description
This is a fine 10K gold civil war era brooch. At one time, this belonged to a larger necklace & it has a hook where it attached to the necklace. It now has a stick pin & can be worn as a brooch. Very nicely hand engraved with tulip & dogwood blossoms. The color is good with appropriate patina. It has an unsightly solder repair on the back & a cole of areas where the gold is minutely torn. No blemish is obvious from the front. Weight is 6.0 grams. Gold has been acid tested & is guaranteed to be 10K.
