Secret Stream is inspired by the River Ember, which was a little willow tree lined river that ran alongside Philip Jacob's childhood garden in Surrey in England. It was this river that inspired his love of nature from a very early age. in this collection, he has tried to capture both the creatures & the plants that inspired him. Fish swimming through the cool green depths. Dragonflies & kingfishers. Ducks who often sat around him on the landing stage at the water's edge. There were so many beautiful flowers that grew along the edges of the riverside meadows including bluebells, foxgloves & poppies. Philip hopes this collection will take you back to a bygone magical time when life was much simpler & inspire your sewing & craft projects with that same magic. Pictures 2 & 3 show sample quilt projects using these fabrics for inspiration on what you might create. Be sure to look at Picture 4 as it provides answers to some frequently asked questions. 100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold, normal cycle with like colors, do not bleach, tumble dry low, warm iron.
