The color on this stone is both hard to describe, as well as hard to photograph correctly, but I've given it my best shot. (Sorry for the bad Dad pun.) So, for those of you not familiar with the outdoors, a lot of the surfaces in the forests that never see the rays of the sun develop an organism called a lichen, that's part fungi, part bacteria. Lichen's color ranges in the light to mid frosty greens, & this ring's color is on the darker end of that color. It sparkles in hues of lichen green, from a deeper green, up to a really pale, almost frosty colored white-green. It makes for a really interesting hued ring, especially when you start moving the ring around, & you notice all of the rainbow fire that moissanite is so famous for. This ring has fire in no short supply, & it radiates (as the ring's cut would imply), out in extremely large swaths that change color as you move your hand. It's a stunning, beautiful stone that is beautiful in no small part because it's so large. The ring itself is a hefty piece that holds the stone in with a set of 4 extremely strong prongs. The whole structure of the ring itself is really well made, & feels like a high quality piece with smooth edges & a nice, shiny finish. It's been set with tiny cubic zirconia accents, & has two, 2mm natural blue sapphires on both the top, & bottom. Have questions? Don't hesitate to ask, karen usually responds within 24 hours!
