Description
This vintage wedding cake topper is from the Mid Century time period. It is marked on the back "copyright symbol 1950 J. Loevinson Co. Inc.". The chalkware bride & groom are already dressed. Added later was the satin & netting dress, the veil, & the cloth flowers. This was done to make the cake topper a more personal fit. The groom is wearing a white tux jacket with black pants & tie. They both have dark brown hair. All the detail was hand painted. This cake topper is 4-1/4" tall x 2-1/2" wide x approximately 1-1/2" deep. It is from 1950s. The groom has a couple of nicks to his hair. He has a mark on the back of his jacket as you can see in the last picture.
