Here is a set of Sterling China (Wellsville, OH) that is restaurant, diner or hotel ware vitrified china. There are 4 coffee mugs with rust, upright triangles that are interspersed with corn or wheat stalks. I can't make up my mind of which I think they are... clearly a grain of some sort. They are thick mugs, meant to stand up to heavy use. They are in good vintage condition with some scattered light orange specks & a teeny chip to the bottom of one, as shown. They are 2.75" tall, 3.5" across the top & 1 7/8" across the base.
