I bought this set about 2 months ago at an estate sale held online in an adjoining county. This is my first experience with an entire set of Spode china & I'm a little bit disappointed in quality of the design in particular with the "gadroon" edge. I think that it promotes the small rim chips that were pervasive in this set it got to the point that many pieces have 2 listings, one for excellent pieces & a second for excellent pieces, such as this chop plate, with very small chips which I've documented in photos. I lowered the prices on these chipped pieces so they represent an outstanding value to the buyer who uses their set in entertaining. Questions are always welcome & have a nice day.
